Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Church Street Station Holdings, LLC, doing business as SALT North Shore ("SALT," "we," "us"), collects, uses and shares information when you visit saltfitnorthshore.com, book with us through Momence, or visit our studio at 410 Green Bay Rd, Kenilworth, IL 60043.

What we collect

Information you give us

  • Your name, email, phone number and birthday when you create an account, book a class or sauna session, or buy a membership, pack or gift card

  • Payment details, which are entered into and processed by our booking platform's payment processor. We don't store full card numbers.

  • Waiver and intake information, including any injuries, pregnancy or health details you choose to share so instructors can offer modifications

  • Messages you send us by email, text, phone or our website forms

  • Your email address if you sign up for our newsletter

Information collected automatically

  • Your bookings, attendance, purchases and membership history

  • Website activity such as pages visited, device and browser type, and general location, collected through cookies and similar tools (see Cookies, analytics and ads)

How we use it

  • To run your bookings, memberships, sauna sessions and payments

  • To keep you safe in class, using any health details you share only to support your practice

  • To send booking confirmations, reminders, waitlist updates and schedule changes

  • To send our newsletter and occasional offers, events and member news, if you've opted in

  • To understand how people use our website and improve it

  • To show our ads to people likely to be interested in SALT

  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

Text messages

When you book or buy through our booking platform, you can choose to receive two kinds of texts from SALT North Shore:

  • Transactional texts about your bookings, such as confirmations, reminders and class changes

  • Promotional texts about offers, events and news, only if you check that box separately

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of purchase.

We do not share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. We share them only with the service providers that send our messages for us.

Who we share it with

We share information only with companies that help us run SALT, and only what they need to do that job:

  • Momence: booking, memberships, payments, waivers, email and text messages

  • Momence's payment processor: processes card and bank payments

  • Squarespace: hosts our website and newsletter sign-ups

  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram): measures our ads and shows them to relevant audiences

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect the safety of our members and staff, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.

Cookies, analytics and ads

Our website uses cookies and similar tools so it works properly, so we can see which pages people visit, and so we can measure our ads. These include Squarespace's own cookies and analytics and the Meta Pixel, which tells us when someone who saw a SALT ad on Facebook or Instagram visits our site or books.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can control the ads you see in your Facebook ad preferences. The site will still work if you turn off non-essential cookies.

Your choices

  • Emails: use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email

  • Texts: reply STOP to any message

  • Your information: email us to ask for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We'll respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some records, such as payment history, for tax and legal reasons.

  • Your account: you can update your contact details anytime in your Momence account

Security, retention and children

We use reputable platforms with industry-standard security, and we limit access to your information to the staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us right away if you think your account has been compromised.

We keep your information while you're an active client and for as long as needed afterward for legal, tax and safety reasons, then delete it or make it anonymous.

Our website and booking are meant for adults. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to book and sign the waiver for them. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date below, and we'll let members know by email about any significant change.
